Social Responsibility at Beckway
Our mission is to utilize the combined force of Beckway’s talent to better our communities. This year, we established a plan focusing on three key areas of impact: philanthropy, diversity equity and inclusion (DEI), and employee wellbeing.
Consistent with our core values, Beckway is committed to making a positive difference in the communities where we live and work. Through our organized volunteering at regional offsites, providing employees five paid days off each year to contribute time and talent to philanthropic endeavors, and offering professional grants, we are proud of the impact we are making.
Beckway is happy to receive requests from non-profit, charitable, and philanthropic organizations that would benefit from our professional offerings. Just give us a ring and we will brainstorm together how we might best help!
Beckway’s DEI Committee is focused on building a culture where employees are empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to work. We strive to create a workplace reflective of the communities we serve by the sharing of experiences, education, and giving back to our communities.
Recent progress by the committee includes the creation of a LinkedIn Learning channel and firm-wide trainings, monthly newsletter, DEI talent acquisition committee, and updated employee referral program. Despite having laid a solid foundation in 2022, there is a lot of progress to be made in 2023.
At Beckway, we take a holistic approach to wellbeing. Whether it is physical, mental, financial, or social wellbeing, we empower and aid our employees in the creation of an environment that supports their individual needs.
A few ways we are working towards improved wellbeing are by providing free mental health assistance, a fitness focused employee resource group, competitive compensation with access to a wealth advisor, generous PTO and parental leave programs, and a supportive culture where family always comes first.
